Anahi was born in Lima in 1983 and even though she studied graphic design for business at the San Ignacio de Loyola university, her artistic talent took her through other paths, as at the age of 19 she fell in love with ballet dancing and started acting in commercial ads for TV, which also took her closer to fashion catwalks and to the Habacilar TV show (2004 - 2006).

As a fashion model, she started modeling for Peruvian and foreign designers, such as Patricia Field and Missoni. And having a parallel acting career, she started at the “Esta Sociedad” TV series in year 2006, where she interpreted Ursula, a vain and superficial teenager.

 

Since then, her career jumped to the cinemas in year 2008, being “Dioses” by director Josué Méndez, the movie that granted her with the opportunity to make her debut as a movie star, which won the 'El Abrazo' award as the best feature film at the Biarritz International Movies Festival, and two awards at the Lima Movies Festival; her next appearance in feature films happened in the “Mancora” movie, which was first aired at the Sundance Festival in year 2008.

But Anahi's talent was not only limited to television, catwalks and movies, in year 2009 she debuted acting in theaters as part of the assemble of the 'Cabaret' musical, by the Preludio cultural association and at the same time, she participated at the 'El Show de los Sueños' dancing and singing reality show, hosted by Gisela Valcárcel, where she finished 8th after months of competitions, but for the nest season of 'El Show de los Sueños: Reyes del Show', se obtained the 6th position. During this period of time, she collaborated with the music video 'Te Regalo' by the power-pop band Adammo.

In year 2011 she appeared in the Peruvian-American film '186 Dollars to Freedom' ('The City of Gardens”), directed by Camilo Vila. And, later on, in the black comedy movie 'El Guachiman',​ and in the 'La tía de Carlos' theater play. At that same year, but in television, she participated in 'Lalola' ​and acted in the 'La Perricholi' TV show as Rosa María de Altamirano.

In year 2012 she acted in the 'La Tayson' TV show and in 'Corazón Rebelde', remake of the Argentinian production 'Muñeca Brava', as Victoria del Prado.​ In theater, she acted in the “Chicago” musical, which was first aired at Lima's Municipal Theater and later on at the Marsano Theater. As a fashion model, se participated for the second time at the 'Leonisa Fashion Show' by the end of that year.

In year 2013 she appeared in the 'Asu Mare' movie and participated in the 'El Chico de Oz' musical. She also acted at the 'Mi amor, el Wachiman 2' TV series.

It was during this period of her life, when Anahi decides to take her career one step further. Because with her first music album she makes her debut as a singer. The album named 'Who’s that girl', was launched both in digital format and in record stores in August 2013.​ He first single 'Gemini' was published on May 15th with a music video directed by Rodrigo Moreno del Valle, and likewise, her single 'Distancia' in 2014 with a music video directed by Santiago Zapata. On this same year, she joined the 'Al fondo hay sitio' TV show as 'La Innombrable'.

In year 2017 she joined the 'El gran show: tercera temporada' talent reality show hosted by Gisela Valcarcel, where she obatined the first place after a month and 12 days of competition.
